Start with your laminate product
Keep the product name, care sheet and warranty with your home records. Use the manufacturer’s directions for that exact flooring.
- Remove grit with a soft dry tool or the vacuum setting approved for your floor.
- Blot spills promptly. Follow the product’s care guide for cleaner choice and damp cleaning; do not leave puddles.
- Use steam, polish, wax or an abrasive method only if the flooring maker explicitly permits it.
- For a difficult mark, identify the product and consult its spot-care instructions before testing a cleaner in an inconspicuous area.
